Why this platform?

Getting access to psychiatry services is becoming increasingly difficult. Often times people experience several weeks or even months of waiting time to speak with a provider. Many online telehealth psychiatry platforms do not offer the quality and expertise that private practitioners can.

Our mission is to simplify the process and provide you with direct access to an actual board-certified psychiatric APRN. This platform is both a Connecticut-based private practice and concierge psychiatry service that can assist you with exploring options to maintain, repair, and enhance your emotional, spiritual, and neurological well-being.

We specialize in an integrative approach to psychiatry. This means a more holistic view with both conventional and alternative treatment options. Everyone is different, and treatment should not be a “one size fits all” philosophy.

Future alternative treatment options are currently in development involving esketamine, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. Check back for updates.

Who is this platform not for?

Individuals experiencing severe psychological, emotional, or neurological distress that are in need of immediate treatment and/or are experiencing a crisis. This includes severe substance use and/or withdrawal symptoms. Please use the appropriate services, such as calling 911 for medical emergencies, 988 for a mental health crisis, 211 for non-emergency community support, or proceed to the nearest emergency room if you are experiencing an emergency.

We only treat adults, 18-years and older, on this platform.

Please note: This is not a crisis-management platform. Our primary goal is to make sure that we provide the best care to our clients. In some cases, the limitations of telehealth and outpatient treatment do not provide the level of care that we think you deserve. In those cases, we can still provide feedback, select services, and assistance with referral options.

What is an APRN?

APRN stands for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. This is a registered nurse (RN) who has furthered their education and training with a specialty. APRNs have to earn at least a Masters degree of Science and many go on to earn their Doctorate/PhD degree in Nursing or related field. This platform is owned and operated by APRNs. In the near future, we will also be involved in training students/new-grad APRNs. Similar to physicians, APRNs can practice in multiple settings and have different specializations. There are 4 types of APRNs:

  • Nurse Practitioners

  • Nurse Anesthetists

  • Clinical Nurse Specialists

  • Nurse Midwives
